My husband and I made Aliyah to Israel in 2020. We purchase an apartment in Netanya in 2022 and decided to ship furniture, art, books, household items etc. in 2023 from our home in Northern Nevada to Israel. Shipping was set for October 2023.
Lucky for us, our contact for receiving our container shipment in Israel , and guiding me through the whole unfamiliar process, was Guy Ben Aharon of Smart Move International Forwarding Services. What an experience this turned out to be during such challenging times.
The tragic October 7th catastrophe that struck in Israel altered so many things, and changed and challenged so many lives . There suddenly was no smooth transition between shipping from the USA to Israel. Our return flight to Israel was cancelled. Guy provided constant reassurance, support, flexibility , information, and options … taking into account the many scenarios that could occur with our container arriving .
It did arrive in November and so did we. Guy immediately guided me to get through all the proper procedures for customs etc. . He saved us money by his guidance. He arranged for his crew of the BEST movers ever to deliver everything immediately after customs clearance. And the crew worked efficiently, carefully, and with ease and respect. And they made it fun! At least for me. It was exciting.
I moved many times throughout my life all over the USA. This was the best experience ever and I owe that all to Guy. He is kind, honest, patient, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and has a heart full of goodness I highly recommend Guy and Smart Move to handle all moving needs anywhere in the world .

When we met Guy face to face we knew he's the one to work with! he gave us an exact volume assessment, his .punctuality was amazing! and the most surprising is the personal warm service that is hard to get in our times I also have to thank his staff who worked fast and clean and showed great skills packing our art collection that .arrived to our new home in Mexico in it original perfect condition
